April 1st KAL Day 1 & 2 and photo

Hi, here is our first KAL for April:

Materials:

 #7 US Needle, 1 Skein Cotton...Yarn Recommended color:  Blue, Yellow or any solid color you like.  A light pastel will work but I do feel a solid color will show off the pattern better.

This is a lace cloth

 Cast On:  37 Stitches

Notes:  skp = Slip 1 st, Knit 1 st, Pass slip stitch over knit stitch

Sl = Slip Stitch Knitwise

YO = Yarn Over

 

Rows 1-4 Knit Across

Pattern:
Row 1:  K6,  *YO K2, SKP, K2Tog, K2, YO K1* Repeat between *’s end with K4.
Row 2:  K4, P29, K4
Row 3:  K5, *YO K2, SKP, K2Tog, K2, YO K1*; Repeat between * ending K5
Row 4:  K4, P29, K4
Row 5:  Knit Across
Row 6:  K4, P29, K4

 

DAY 2:

Row 7:  K6, *YO K2, SKP, K2Tog, K2, YO K1* Repeat from * end with K4
Row 8:  K4, P29, K4
Row 9:  K5, *YO K2, SKP, K2Tog, K2, YO K1*; Repeat between * ending K5
Row 10:  K4, P29, K4
Row 11:  Knit Across
Row 12:  Knit Across
