October 1st 2016 KAL Days 1 & 2 with a Photo

Here is our first KAL for October:

This KAL is a Seasonal cloth that is Lace.

Materials:  1 skein of cotton yarn, purple is recommended

#6 US Knitting Needle. 

 Notes:   YO = Yarn Over / K3Tog = Knit 3 together /

Cast on instructions:   Cast on 38

Border:

Rows 1-4:     Knit across

Pattern:

Row 1:           (RS) Knit across.

Row 2:           (WS) K4, P30, K4.

Row 3:           K4, *YO, K1, YO, K3Tog, K6* Repeat between *’s, end K4.

Row 4:           K4, P30, K4.

Row 5:           K4, *K1, YO, K1, YO, K1, K3Tog, K4*; Repeat between *’s, end K4.

Row 6:           K4, P30, K4.

Day 2:

Row 7:           K4, *K2, YO, K1, YO, K2, K3Tog, K2*; Repeat between *’s, end  K4.

Row 8:           K4, P30, K4.

Row 9:           K4, *K3, YO, K1, YO, K3, K3Tog*; Repeat between *’s, end K4.

Row 10:        K4, P30, K4.

Row 11:        Knit across.

Row 12:        K4, P30, K4.

Row 13:        K4, *K6, K3Tog, YO, K1, YO*; Repeat between *’s, end K4. (Make sure to repeat your last YO before starting the border stitches).

Row 14:        K4, P30, K4.

Row 15:        K4, *K4, K3Tog, K1, YO, K1, YO, K1*; Repeat between *’s, end K4.

Row 16:        K4, P30, K4.
